Overview

Lafayette Little League is committed to maintaining a quality umpire program to serve the AA thru Advanced Baseball divisions in our organization.  Our umpires are kids from our community, age 12 and up, plus a large group of adult volunteers.  We provide training and ongoing support to the umpires of our league.

For the 2018 season, our Chief Umpire is Randall Whitney.

***  District 4 Junior  Umpire Clinics - 2022***

Mandatory for Adult Umpires, suggested for Managers and Youth umpires who want to learn more about the rules of the game.

ALL 2022 CLINICS WILL BE VIA ZOOM.  See below from the District's Head Umpire:

The clinic dates and times are:

Thursday, February 17, 7-8:15pm. Basic Rules Clinic #1: Regulations, and Rules 1 and 2--Safety, Decorum, Equipment, and Definitions

Thursday, February 24, 7-8:15pm. Basic Rules Clinic #2: Rules 3 through 7

Thursday, March 3, 7-8:15pm. Basic Rules Clinic #3: Interference, Obstruction, and Rule 8--Pitching
