Former LLL players drafted by Major League Baseball

Last June, two former Lafayette Little League players were taken in the Major League Baseball amateur draft. Joey Epperson was selected in the 13th round by the San Diego Padres after completing a standout collegiate career at UC Santa Barbara. Denis Karas was the Pittsburgh Pirates selection in the 24th round after a successful four seasons at Campolindo High School.
